Shamamisk is Al Hashimi’s artisanal tribute to the timeless beauty of Indian perfumery—where ancient tradition meets modern refinement. At its heart lies a secret Shamama blend: a deeply complex distillation of herbs, spices, roots, and resins, slowly coaxed into sandalwood oil using centuries-old techniques. This is the soul of classic Indian attar-making—warm, spicy, resinous, and richly layered.

We could have released a Shamama attar long ago—but we waited. We wanted to do it right. Shamamisk is the result of that patience: a formulation that honours tradition while meeting the high standards we’ve set for ourselves and our customers.

What sets Shamamisk apart is the way this heritage blend gives way to something rarer still: a delicate yet undeniable thread of Kashmiri musk. At first, the musk lies hidden beneath the opulent weight of Shamama—softly veiled, almost submissive. But as the attar evolves on the skin, the musk begins to rise, blooming with a gentle persistence until it stands as the quiet star of the composition.
